Expert hits out over GM contamination

Sue Mayer, the director of GeneWatch UK, has raised concerns over the recent discovery of genetically modified rice in Bayer Crop Science's crops. Writing on the BBC News website, Ms Mayer explained that the discovery of the contamination has sent "shockwaves" through the industry and highlights the potential danger of GM crops, as it "remains a mystery" as to how the contamination occurred.
